For the second night in a row I wasn't able to fall asleep until after 5am. Not sure what's up. I've been sleeping well for the last month or two. Oh well.
Last night as I was not sleeping I was thinking about the current scene I'm writing in my novel and suddenly I started thinking of a completely different idea. But with the same character... Has that ever happened to you before? (If you write that is...) The idea is still simmering and growing. Mutating really. I've never had a new story idea about an existing character.
Well I'm going to let that idea do what it wants for now while I work on the current story! Goodnight!
