Links to My New Site

It's been 2 months since I've last been here. Even logged on to blogger. Like I said previously I've moved to Wordpress and am very happy there. But I didn't want to leave anyone who happened to still read this old thing to miss out on the fun.

My Wordpress site is mainly for my writing. I'm doing it in serial format. It's not like oh this story will be 6 parts. It's more like I'm writing the book as I go and posting it bit by bit. I think the first post was a little shy of 1,000 words.

I currently have plans for 4 different stories. Currently I only have one started but the others are coming soon!

Here are the links to the site if anyone is interested! MY NEW SITE
And also here is a link specifically to the first post of a story I'm writing called The Jade Ring

Moving?

I think I mentioned in an earlier post that I was going to be changing the blog some. But after I got screwed out of my web address I was just going to start over on wordpress. I actually had one started but with no posts.

After messing with Wordpress some it is much better in ways. Probably better than blogger. Two huge wins for wordpress are:

1. The wordpress app destroys the blogger app easily. It has everything the site has. I thing you can make posts with the blogger app.

2. Setting up a static home page and having your blog on another or setting it up so certain posts only show on a specific page is a breeze with Wordpress. Blogger I had to do this and that and it still had all the posts on the home page.

Having pages with specific posts is important because I'm planning on doing a few serial fictions. Or basically just bits as I write then. Which I guess is serial fiction. Whatever.

But I think I'll keep this blog for regular posts and use word press for stories. Bit we will see

I Lost My Custom Domain... Thanks Google

The middle of February is when my custom domain (www.theultimateginger.com) has always renewed. I've had that address for 2 years. But this year I kept getting emails from google saying it wasn't going to renew for whatever reason. So I go in and follow the steps they gave me to renew it and as you can see I no longer have that domain.

Why? Because google wouldn't let me. I did exactly what they said and always got errors. Sometimes they wouldn't even let me attempt it.

I've always been a fan of everything Google has made. And they shit on me like this.

Not that there is anyone actually reading these posts. No one ever really does. But that's probably because I didn't go and follow their blog or twitter or website first. Thus is the world we live in. People always expect something first.
