Adsense?

So I've been reading up on Google's Adsense and I've been contemplating signing up and adding it to The Ultimate Ginger. It seems pretty easy and will (or should) place ads relevant to my blog. But me being me I had to ask how you, the viewers, felt about ads. Would it turn you away if all of a sudden there were a couple little ads in the sidebar?
