A Treasure and A Concert

It's been quite a few days now since I've blogged. Didn't mean for that to happen. Oops!

Anyways it's been a fairly boring time. As I can't seem to fall asleep before 5 or 6 am I tend to sleep until 2 or 3 pm. Get up, get ready, and go to work. Just to come home and start again.

I've been continuing The Ranger's Apprentice series. I'm on book 8 now. It's still amazing. Though book 7 takes place (chronologically) before 5 and 6 I believe. Not sure why the author chose to do this. Maybe it will be cleared up by the end of the series...

I haven't really worked much on my maps since the last update. But I have been throwing ideas around in my head!

I've also been watch the tv show called Red Dwarf. I'm starting the second season soon! I've also started watching the first season of Criminal Minds :D

This week during disc golfing I avoided being hit in the head again. Barely. I seem to be a magnet to those damned discs! I did find an abandoned disc though. I'm not sure how the person didn't see it. It was only a few feet above my head in a tree. I kept it. I played the rest of the course with it! It's mine. My own. My precious!

Umm tomorrow I'm going to Chicago to see My Chemical Romance. And Neon Trees and some other band that I don't know. Should be a blast. Haven't been to a concert in almost 4 years. Which is kinda sad. I volunteered to work on Saturday. At 10am. We won't be getting home until around 3am Saturday. But luckily for me that's about the normal amount of sleep I'd get anyways. So it all works out!

  1. I saw My Chemical Romance perform once upon a time. I traveled to Topeka, Kansas, during their Black Parade tour...which was seriously awesome. I'm so glad I had the chance to see them at that peak. Let us know how they're doing now. Their new stuff hasn't gripped me like the old stuff did, but doesn't mean they're bad performers by any means. =)
And speaking of concerts, I just saw Lady Gaga which I think has forever jaded my opinion. That lady is one hell of an incredible performer and her talent is astounding!

  2. We ended up getting their towards the end of the second bands set because of ridiculous traffic in Chicago!

I didn't think Neon Trees was all that great. But My Chemical Romance was amazing! Amazing. They played stuff off all their albums with was really nice! I had a blast! :D
