Book Review: A Vision of Green by L.H Cosway

I recently had the honor of getting to read A Vision of Green (Florence Vaine #2) by L.H Cosway.

As you can tell by the title this is the second book in the series. The first book involves Florence, Flo for short, moving to Chesterport to live with her Grandmother. Or rather her drunk, druggy father dumps her there to avoid having to care for her. If you want to know more about that be sure to pick up A Strange Fire before reading A Vision of Green!

I'm just going to say as a warning that I won't get too much into the actual story as I know I have no chance of doing it any justice.

In A Vision of Green Flo, an Empath, finds that her abusive, druggie father has taken up residence in her recently deceased grandmothers house. Along with his low-life girlfriend. Some strange things are going on in the forest in Chesterport and Flo meets Green George (gosh I hope I got that right) who is like a god over all the evil little monsters that are trapped in the forest. But when a "psychic" holds a seance to help find a missing girl he really unleashed a bad spirit which allows the monsters to break free from the forest. Terror overtakes the town as the monsters start killing. Sam and the other nephilim, along with the demon possessed Frank fight off some bigger, meaner monsters. Frank's father, John, dies but Frank calls the fallen angel Bune to save John. But doing so meant that Frank had to make a deal with Bune. Who knows what that will entail. Hopefully the wait for book 3 won't be too long!

But really this is one of very few, if the only books to flow so perfectly. All of L.H Cosway's books flow so smoothly and you can just melt right into the pages. Do yourself a favor and go pick up both books and even The Ultimate Power Series (currently 2 books and a novella/short story). The main characters from those books actually show up in A Vision of Green!
